I am a photographer based in Manchester who specialises in sport photography and grew up on David Attenborough so like to sometimes adventure into the wilderness.
Speaking of growing up I grew up in a small village in the north of wales. Living in such a picturesque place in was no surprise I fell in love with photography. Attending Cheshire College I had my eyes opened ti the world of photography getting to practice different techniques and styles for the first time.
After studying photography at the University of Salford I had found my feet within sport photography. I since have been honoured to work with teams such as Manchester Titans, Northop Hall Cricket Club and as of recently became Enterprise National League accredited shooting for Altrincham FC.
Driven by a deep passion for visual storytelling and capturing the moments that evoke emotion. I strive to produce captivating images that leave a lasting impression. I believe there is a deeper, more emotional side that truly defines sport. For example in the quiet moments before kick-off, during a teammate huddle, or the sharing of last-minute encouragement. The eyes of fans fixed on the game, the expressions of coaches, the victory celebrations, and the heartbreak of defeat.
In my work, I strive to show the complete picture of sport, capturing not just motion, but emotion too. I aim to share the tension, triumph, anticipation, and aftermath. From still portraits before a throw-in to a rugby union scrum, I try to show not just what’s seen, but what’s felt.
